A revolution is happening right now and women are leading the charge.
Professional woman are returning home to take care of their family and building successful businesses like we have never seen before. While the debate continues on whether we should call these successful ladies mompreneurs or entrepreneurs, what is not in dispute is the caliber of many of these successful business women ~ not homemakers, yes business women. - Women have been starting businesses at a higher rate than men for the last 20 years.
- Women will create over half of the 9.72 million new small business jobs expected to be created by 2018.
Many of these women entrepreneurs have leveraged social media to share their message and increase their reach as it relates to their business. I should also share that the rise of the woman entrepreneur is a global phenomenon. The rise of women entrepreneurs is noted especially in Latin America as well as India.
